			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Soo&#8230;. this wasn&#8217;t a good week for me. I cheated several times. The reason:  I&#8217;m a sucker for restaurants. When I friend invites me to go out to eat, I can&#8217;t say no. And then, even though I try to make healthy decisions, I still eat a ton of calories! What do you guys do in that situation? I want to hang out with my friends, but I don&#8217;t want to eat unhealthy.</p>
<p>Anyway, today was weigh-in. =( I gained one pound. I was kinda expecting it, but it was still heartbreaking to see it on the scale.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m officially back on track, but I&#8217;m going on a camping trip Sun.-Tues. and am worried about that. Half the fun of camping is the great camp food! lol. I will be getting a ton of exercise hiking and stuff though. Any tips on how to eat healthy while camping?</p>

I decided to cancel my eDiets orders and switch to eating Lean Cuisine and counting calories. eDiets is basically the same thing as Lean Cuisine except Lean Cuisine tastes better! 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>So I haven&#8217;t been posting a lot lately. I&#8217;ve been crazy busy!</p>
<p>I decided to cancel my eDiets orders and switch to eating Lean Cuisine and counting calories. eDiets is basically the same thing as Lean Cuisine except Lean Cuisine tastes better! I absolutely LOVE the chicken with cheese lasagna!! Sooo good!! And super filling. Aaaannnnd only 290 calories!! So I&#8217;m doing great on this plan!</p>
<p>On Saturday my friends and I had a &#8220;Night of Horror&#8221; party. We watched horror movies and I wanted to make some horror related food to fit the theme. So here&#8217;s what I made:</p>
<p><strong>Vodka Jello Worms</strong></p>

<p>I made them out of Jello, food coloring, bendy straws, and LOTS of vodka! And no, I did not count the calories! lol.</p>
<p><strong>Bloody Cupcakes</strong></p>

<p>These were red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese icing. The &#8220;blood&#8221; was made from hot fudge, cherry flavor, white chocolate chips, and red chocolate chips. I also filled the center of the cupcakes with the &#8220;blood&#8221;.</p>
<p>The worms and the cupcakes were both a big hit!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>So, I just finished reading the Last Vampire series by Christopher Pike. I used to read Christopher Pike books all the time when I was in junior high, but haven&#8217;t really read anything by him since high school. However, the Last Vampire series was recently re-published. They combined the 6 book series into two large volumes, each containing 3 books, and renamed them &#8220;Thirst&#8221;. I passed these books by in the bookstore several times, assuming they were one of the many vampire books recently written trying to ride the Twilight wave. This last visit to the bookstore I noticed that they were written by Christopher Pike and decided to try them out. I have to say that they were pretty good! Way better than a lot of the vampire novels out there lately! I am a big paranormal fiction fan and love finding new things to read. The Last Vampire books are about Sita, a 5,000 year old vampire. The last vampire in the world. They are a great read and I highly recommend them!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>So I&#8217;ve been bad. =( Weekends are hard!! I&#8217;ve been good too though! We&#8217;ll start with the good!</p>
<p>Friday my hubby and I went to see Alice in Wonderland in 3-D (AMAZING!). Usually when we go to a movie I eat a ton of buttery, fattening popcorn and drink a huge soda. This time, although my hubby got popcorn and soda and ate/drank it right in front of me, I resisted! I didn&#8217;t eat a single kernel of popcorn! I am super proud of myself! I just drank a bottle of water!</p>
<p>Now for the naughty.</p>
<p>My exercise partner was sick on Friday, so we didn&#8217;t run. And I had a test to study for today, so we didn&#8217;t run again today! Wednesday we will get back into routine though! Annnnd on Saturday I went to lunch with my hubby at an Italian restaurant. I didn&#8217;t do toooo bad. I ordered a shrimp pizza and only ate one and a half pieces. And I did extra good the rest of the day! And I was bad again today! After serving delicious cheesy, buttery, yummy food all day, I was absolutely craving calamari when I got off work! So me and the husband went to Olive Garden tonight. I had the following:</p>
<p>Calamari&#8211;400 calories</p>
<p>Grilled shrimp caprese (and I didn&#8217;t eat the pasta)&#8211; 450 calories</p>
<p>Chicken and Gnocchi soup&#8211;200 calories</p>
<p>1 Breadstick&#8211;150 calories</p>
<p>Strawberry Fresco&#8211;230 calories</p>
<p>Total&#8211;1,430 calories!! On one meal!!!</p>
<p>My lunch today was 300 calories, and breakfast was 100, so my grand total calories for the day is 1,830!</p>
<p>Still waaaay less than I used to eat a day. But not good!</p>
<p>I promise to do better! I&#8217;m officially back on plan starting now!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>So today is my official weigh-in day. I woke up feeling extremely fat. I don&#8217;t know why, but the last thing I wanted to do was step on the scale. I really did not want it to show a gain and for all the hard work this week to have been for nothing. So I layed in bed for and extra hour reading. Then took a shower to prolong it even more. Finally, I worked up the guts to step on. And here are the results:</p>
<p><strong>Beginning Stats:</strong></p>
<p><em>Weight: </em>232 lbs</p>
<p><em>BMI: </em>41.09</p>
<p><strong>Today&#8217;s Stats:</strong></p>
<p><em>Weight: </em>226</p>
<p><em>BMI</em>:  40.16</p>
<p>That&#8217;s a loss of 6 lbs!!!!!!!! In one week!!!!</p>
<p>I am sooo excited! This is great motivation to keep it up!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>So I&#8217;ve decided to give myself one &#8220;cheat day&#8221; a week. Now this won&#8217;t be a day that I can go crazy and eat whatever I want. It will just be a day that I can eat things besides what eDiets mails me. I still have to make healthy choices. I think this will help me resist cravings because I can tell myself, you can have that on cheat day, then, hopefully by cheat day I won&#8217;t even want it anymore. So yesterday was my cheat day. I ate eDiets breakfast and lunch. I skipped my dairy and fruit servings. And I ate at Chili&#8217;s for dinner with some friends. I did good though! I had a fajita trio (steak, chicken, and shrimp). I ate only meat and grilled onions and didn&#8217;t touch the tortillas. And I drank water. So overall my calorie intake was around 1,500, which is a little above normal, but still not bad. Does anyone else have a scheduled &#8220;cheat day&#8221; and do you guys think that this is a good or bad idea?</p>
<p>Waking up to go walk with Breah this morning was very difficult! I hit snooze three times. And it was cold! 35 degrees! But it was pretty fun. My legs were kinda sore from Monday, so I felt it a lot more today. And a worked up a little sweat!</p>
<p>I&#8217;m considering doing the one hundred pushups challenge and/or the two hundred situps challenge on my days off walking. [<a title="Hundred Pushups" href="http://www.hundredpushups.com/" target="_blank">http://www.hundredpushups.com/</a>] I&#8217;ve also been looking at resistance bands and exercises for them.</p>
<p>Tomorrow&#8217;s weigh-in! I&#8217;m excited to see how much progress I&#8217;ve made, but also nervous. I hope all this work is paying off! We&#8217;ll see tomorrow I guess!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>So, I decided to exercise using the Wii Fit today and discovered that I can&#8217;t do pushups! Not even the girly kind! I struggled for about 45 minutes trying to do a pushup without success. Maybe I&#8217;m doing it wrong? Surely I have to be able to do at least one pushup! But I just couldn&#8217;t do it! Ugh! I have got to figure out a way to get in some better exercise than just walking/trying to run! I can&#8217;t afford to join a gym. Plus, exercising in front of other people makes me nervous! (which is something I will eventually have to get over!) The Wii Fit is okay&#8230;. but it doesn&#8217;t really get me breathing hard, and I don&#8217;t really feel like I&#8217;ve had a workout afterwards. I have no exercise equipment, nor do I have room in my house for exercise machines, not to mention room in my budget! I do have some old exercise DVD&#8217;s somewhere&#8230;. I might have to dig those out&#8230; Anyone have any other ideas?</p>
<p>BTW, the Wii says that I have gained 1.5 lbs. <img src='http://s0.wp.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_sad.gif' alt=':(' class='wp-smiley' />  I&#8217;m not going to take this too seriously though. I had just ate lunch when I stepped on, and drank two bottles of water! I still don&#8217;t like to hear that though! That means my unofficial weight at the moment is 229.3. Still not official until Thursday!</p>

<p>Today was the first day of doing the Couch to 5K with Breah. I woke up at the crack of dawn. Literally. It was still dark outside. No one should be up that early! (5:30 am) We walked at the local state park. It was nice! We went up several hills, saw some nice geese and stuff. A lot nicer than just walking on a treadmill or on a track. I am definitely out of shape though! I was out of breath on the first hill! But I made it! Wednesday will be even better!</p>
<p>After that I had class at 9. (Accounting) My professor is an idiot! He just talks about nonsense, and if you ask a question that&#8217;s not typed in his notes or on his answer sheet he can&#8217;t answer it! Ugh! It is very frustrating!</p>
<p>Right after class I had to go to work (10:30). We were really slow today. They cut most of the servers at 2pm, and then we got kinda busy, so we had to go on a wait, which was annoying. I was super sleepy the whole day! And man, my feet were killing me when I got off work! I&#8217;m on my feet all the time, so they hurt a lot. My heels are callused and starting to crack! Anyone have any advice on how to keep them from cracking?</p>
<p>I&#8217;ve been doing really great on the diet! Haven&#8217;t cheated at all! The food is kinda bland though&#8230; I have to spice everything up. Oh well. Maybe it will get better. If not, I will cancel the eDiets and switch to Lean Cuisine and counting calories.</p>
<p>So anyway, 4.2 lbs!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Soooo, I&#8217;m not going to post any more pictures of my food unless someone asks. I&#8217;m doing good and sticking to plan! It&#8217;s really not that difficult yet. I&#8217;m never hungry, and I haven&#8217;t had too many cravings. My husband did eat a pizza in front of me tonight, and I wanted some REALLY bad, but I resisted! My husband has been great about not letting me give in when I&#8217;m tempted.</p>
<p>I haven&#8217;t started a major exercise program yet, but I did go to the park with some friends and walked our dogs this morning. It was pretty fun, but not really much exercise. Tomorrow morning (6:30 am!) starts the actual exercise program. Couch to 5K with Breah (and maybe Ashley). I&#8217;m excited!</p>
<p>By the way, I see that people are reading this blog, but no one is commenting.  That makes me sad.</p>
